Susan has strong family ties to the Traverse City Region and goes Up North whenever possible.  She graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Botany and Plant Pathology.  She then nabbed a dune restoration internship with The Nature Conservancy at the Point Betsie preserve outside of Frankfort.  In 2011, Susan and Tony were married at Frog Pond Village in Interlochen.  Go Spartans!
